WANT TO LEARN TO PLAY BASKETBALL?

The Jersey Basketball Association (JBBA) is the organising body for basketball in Jersey. We are a voluntary (not-for-profit) association with an Executive Committee and a broad Membership.

It’s an exciting time for basketball in Jersey. A considerable amount of hard work and persistence from a small and passionate group of volunteers over the last few years has built up the most extensive set of basketball development programmes Jersey has ever seen.

Hundreds of people play basketball in Jersey every week, at every level of the game, in every age group. This basketball community - which is diverse, highly international and spans every part of our Island society - has grown at rapid speed. This growth is reflected globally - basketball is now estimated to be the third most popular sport in the world.

The Jersey Basketball Association is determined to take full advantage of this opportunity. We want to see more people in Jersey enjoying the health and well-being benefits connected with participation in team sports. We also want basketball in Jersey to become more competitive at the higher levels, allowing us to enjoy a better standard of play against teams from other nations.
